Greek Rice

This is a Greek inspired rice. So good and so easy. 

Let's get started.

Greek Rice
1 1/2 Cups Long Grain Rice
1 Tbsp. Butter
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Shallot, minced
3 Cloves Garlic, minced
2 Tsp. Dried Dill
2 Tsp. Dried Oregano
1 Tsp. Dried Thyme
1 Lemon, zested and juiced
1 Tbsp. Chicken Bouillon 

In a medium pot, using medium high heat, add in the oil, butter, and rice. Stir until the rice for 1 minute. Add in the minced garlic, shallot, and sauté for another minute.

Add in the water, chicken bouillon powder, dill, oregano, thyme, lemon zest and lemon juice; stir to combine. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer. Allow to cook for 12-15 minutes. Then turn off heat and allow to steam for 10 minutes. 

Fluff up with a fork, serve, and enjoy.
