Croque Monsieur Breakfast Casserole

Croque Monsieur is just the French way to say ham and cheese sandwich. Super easy and delicious. Perfect for a cozy Christmas breakfast.

Croque Monsieur
4-6 Croissants, Torn into pieces
2 Cups Gruyere Cheese, Shredded
1 Cup Ham, Shredded
8 Eggs
2 Cups Heavy Cream
2 Tsp. Dijon Mustard
1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
1 Tsp. Onion Powder
1 1/2 Tsp. Kosher Salt
1 Tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Pinch of Nutmeg
1 Tbsp. Chives
2 Ts. Thyme

Pre-heat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

Layer the croissants, ham, and cheese into a baking dish. 

In large bowl and in the eggs, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, nutmeg, chives, and mix until well combined.

Pour mixture over the croissants and top with thyme. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
