JCT Sandwich

This jalapeno, cranberry, turkey sandwich is a great way to use up your thanksgiving leftovers. Or just make because you have a craving lol. If you don't have a jalapeno cranberry jam use your leftover cranberry sauce along with fresh cut jalapenos and it will still be amazing or feel free to omit.

Let's get started.

JCT Sandwich
Sourdough Bread
Turkey
Jalapeno Cranberry Jam
Cheddar Cheese, goat cheese, or cream cheese

Spread two slices of sourdough with the jalapeno cranberry jam, lay a good amount of turkey down, then top with white cheddar cheese or a layer of cream cheese. Allow to toast on a buttered pan. Make sure to toast both sides.

Serve and enjoy.

Note: I particularly like the Trader Joe's unexpected cheddar for this. However, I have had it was an extra sharp white cheddar and it is still amazing.

Also, this would be great as sliders. Use a package of Hawaiian sweet rolls. Place JCT items in between brush buns with melted butter and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until buns are lightly toasted and cheese is melted. :)
