The weather is great, heat up your grill and make these Greek burgers. You can use any ground meat like, turkey, beef, lamb, or a mixture of beef and pork. Make some fries on the side or a buy a couple of bags of chips and enjoy a laid back 4th.

Let's get started.

2 lbs. Ground Beef
2 Tsp. Kosher Salt
1 Tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1 Tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
1 Tbsp. Oregano
4-6 Garlic Cloves, grated
1 Shallot, grated

Tzatziki
1/2 Cup Crumbled Feta
2 Cups Greek Yogurt
2 Garlic Cloves, grated
Lemon, zested and juiced
2 Tsp. Oregano
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Mini Cucumber, grated and squeezed of any excess juice
2 Tbsp. Fresh Dill, Finely Chopped
1 Tsp. Oregano
Kosher Salt
Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Toppings
2 Roma Tomatoes, thinly sliced
2 Cups Arugula
1/2 Red Onion, thinly sliced
6 Brioche Buns

In a bowl combine all of the ingredients for the tzatziki and refrigerate until needed. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

In a separate bowl, combine the ground meat, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, oregano, garlic, shallot, and mix until combined. Form into 6 equal patties and set aside.

Pre-heat your grill on high. Lightly oil your grill grates. Grill patties for 4-6 minutes on each side. Or until your desired doneness. Remove from grill and build your burgers.

Lightly toast brioche buns add a layer of tzatziki, arugula, tomatoes, beef patty, onions, and another layer of tzatziki.

Serve alongside some fries and enjoy.
