Pumpkin Waffles

Waffles are clearly my favorite breakfast food. Hence why I love creating new flavors to continue to enjoy them.

Let's get started.

Pumpkin Waffles Printable Recipe
1 1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
1 Tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp. Salt
2 Tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
2 Eggs
2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
1 1/4 Cup Buttermilk
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
4 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
1/2 Cup Pure Pumpkin Puree

Serve with:
Maple Syrup
1 Lemon, zested and juiced

In a large bowl, add the eggs, brown sugar, and whisk until well combined. Add in the buttermilk, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, vegetable oil and whisk until smooth.

Sift in the flour, baking soda, pumpkin pie spices and whisk until well combined.

Heat up your waffle iron and cook until your waffle iron indicated that the waffles are ready.

In a small sauce pan gently heat up some maple syrup with the zest and juice of one lemon.

Top your pumpkin waffles with your maple syrup, whipped cream, pecans and enjoy.
