Berries are my favorite fruit. So if you're anything like me and can't control yourself while shopping for berries and tend to over buy, make this cobbler recipe and enjoy with a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or a combination of the two.
Let's get started.
Berry Cobbler Printable Recipe
Berry Mixture
4 Cup Mixed Berries(Strawberries, Blackberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, I have even used cherries.)
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
Crumble Mixture
1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Old Fashioned Oats
1/2 Tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1 Pinch of Salt
6 Tbsp. Butter, cut into small pieces
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl combine the flour, brown sugar, old fashioned oats, cinnamon, and salt. Using a fork or your hands cut the butter into the flour mixture until small crumbles form.
In a baking dish, combine the berries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Top with the crumble mixture.
Bake for 25-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Serve and enjoy.
