Eggnog French Toast

Festive holiday brunch recipes are really some of my favorite things to make. These Eggnog French Toast are really tasty and easy to make. Serves a family of four.

Let's get started

Eggnog French Toast Printable Recipe
8 slices of Brioche, Challah, or whatever bread you have available.
1 Cup Eggnog
1 Tsp. Cinnamon
Dash of Nutmeg
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
3 Eggs
2 Tbsp. Butter

In a dish, beat together the eggnog, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and eggs.

Pre-heat your griddle.

Working in batches, dunk your bread into the custard and place them on your buttered griddle immediately. Cook for about two minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Top with whipped cream or powdered sugar, or maple syrup.

Or if you want to take the eggnog flavor up a notch top with eggnog syrup. :)

Eggnog Syrup
1/2 Cup Pure Maple Syrup
1/2 Cup Eggnog
dash of cinnamon
dash of nutmeg

In a sauce pan using medium low heat, bring all the ingredients up to a simmer, heat until thickened.

Let the sauce cool slightly. Pour over your French toast and enjoy.
