Lebanese Chicken Kabobs

#BBQaroundtheworld has taken me to Lebanon this weekend. Exploring these delicious foods at home is great. These recipes were inspired by my favorite Lebanese restaurant that devastatingly had to shut down due to Covid19.

Let's get started.

Lebanese Chicken Kabobs
1 Cup Plain Greek yogurt
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
2 Tsp. Paprika
1 Tsp. Cumin
1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon
1 Tsp. Onion Powder
1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
1 Tsp. Chili Powder
1 Tsp. Turmeric
1 Lemon, zested and juiced
2 Tsp. Salt
1 Tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1 Tbsp. Dried Thyme
3 Cloves of Garlic, grated
2 1/2 Lbs. Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs, trimmed of excess fat and cut into bite size pieces
Skewers

In a large bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, olive oil, paprika, turmeric, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, cinnamon, chili powder, lemon zest and juice, salt, black pepper, garlic, and chicken. Making sure to coat the chicken evenly. Let marinate for 12 hours or a minimum of 2 hours.

Skewer the chicken onto your skewers.

Pre-heat grill and grill chicken kabobs for 15-18 minutes or until fully cooked through.

Serve and enjoy.
