Let's gorge ourselves in snacks and drinks for it is officially Super Bowl time. I am super excited for it this year since the 49ers are actually playing in the Super Bowl. Let's Go 9ers!!!

This year in addition to Buffalo and lemon pepper wings(recipes on site) I am adding some spicy and sweet Korean chicken wings and baked Harissa Wings. Along with charcuterie and hummus. Other members of my family will be brings finger foods as well.
Let's get started.
Hummus Printable Recipe
1 15 oz. can Chickpeas
1 Large Lemon
1 Clove of Garlic
1/2 Cup Tahiti, well mixed
1/4 Tsp. Ground Cumin
3 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Plus more for drizzling
3/4 Tsp. Salt
10 Cranks of Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Za'atar for garnish
In a food processor add in the chickpeas, lemon, garlic, Tahiti, cumin, a pinch of salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Pulse until combined.
While pulsing add in the olive oil until incorporated. Taste and adjust seasoning of salt and pepper to your liking. Pulse to make sure additional seasoning is incorporated.
Move your hummus to a serving bowl, swirl the top to make it look nice, and drizzle a little bit of olive oil and add some Za'atar to garnish.
Serve and enjoy. Hummus goes great with pita chips, bell peppers, carrots, sliced up toasted bagels. So so good.

Korean Sweet and Spicy Wings Printable Recipe
2 lbs. Wings
1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup Cornstarch
1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
1 Tsp. Onion Powder
1 Tsp. Seasoned Salt
1 Tsp. Paprika
1 Tsp. Paprika
1 Tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Oil for Frying
1 Cup Soy Vay Spicy 'N Sweet Chili Heat Sauce
In a bowl combine the flour, potato starch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and stir to combine.
Dredge the wings into the flour mixture making sure to shake off any excess flour. Set aside the floured wings for 10 minutes.
In a pan or Dutch oven heat the oil to 350 degrees F. place the wings in the oil and fry for 6 minutes on each side or until golden brown all over 10-12 minutes total. Remove from the frying pan and let excess oil drain.
In a small pot bring up the spicy and sweet chili sauce up to a boil. Remove from heat and toss the wings in the sauce.

Baked Harissa Chicken Wings Printable Recipe
Once the peppers are cooled, remove the skin and seeds.
Place the cumin, coriander, caraway seeds in a pan and toast until fragrant about 1 minute. Grind the spices in a mortar and pestle or spice grinder.
In a blender, add in the peppers, garlic, spices, oil, salt and pepper, cover the chicken with the harissa paste and marinate for 4-6 hours. Remove from the refrigerator half an hour prior to baking.

2 lbs. Chicken Wings
2-3 Red Peppers
1 Tsp. Cumin Seeds
1 Tsp. Coriander Seeds
1 Tsp. Caraway Seeds
3-4 Cloves of Garlic
2-3 Red Jalapenos, or Red Serrano
1/2 Cup Olive Oil
1 Tsp. Salt
1 Tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1 Tbsp. Honey
Rub the all of the peppers with oil and roast until charred. Once charred removed from heat and place into a bowl and cover with a kitchen towel, cellophane, or aluminum foil.
Once the peppers are cooled, remove the skin and seeds.
Place the cumin, coriander, caraway seeds in a pan and toast until fragrant about 1 minute. Grind the spices in a mortar and pestle or spice grinder.

Pre-heat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Put your wings on a wire rack on top of a cookie sheet to get even heat circulation, and bake for 25 - 30 minutes. Increase the oven temperature to 450 flip the wings over and continue baking them for an additional 15-20 minutes until they are fully cooked through.
Remove from the oven, serve and enjoy.
