Snacks

Don't just be a snack, make some snacks.

Not sure if it's the weather, or my lack of interest in making a full meal in my apartment that reaches hellish temperatures if I even think about turning on the oven but all I want to do is graze.

From charcuterie and cheese boards to veggies, chips, and dip. Snacking is essential this time of year, actually snacking is essential all year long.

However, I was inspired by the fact the Football season is finally back; and the best way to celebrate is by making some easy appetizers and watch some ball or your current Netflix obsession.

Leave me a comment with your favorite Netflix show. I need something new to binge watch.

Let's get started!!

Cauliflower Wings Printable Recipe
1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
1 Cup Water
1 Large Head Cauliflower - cut into florets
1/2 Tsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 Tsp. Onion Powder
1/2 Tsp. Smoked Paprika
1/2 Tsp. Kosher Salt
1/2 Tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper
2 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter
1/2 Cup Franks Red Hot Sauce
Carrot and Celery Sticks for serving
Ranch for dipping

Pre-heat your oven to 425 degrees. Lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.

In a large bowl combine the flour, spices, whisk to combine and add water continue whisking to make a thin batter.

Add the cauliflower florets and coat with the batter. Remove the florets from the bowl allowing excess batter to drip off and place on the baking sheet in a single layer.

Bake the florets for 10 minutes, then turn over and bake another 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine the butter and hot sauce in a small pan until the butter has melted.

After the initial baking of 20 minutes is done brush the florets with the buffalo sauce and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes or until the sauce has been absorbed and the florets are crispy.

Serve with carrot and celery sticks with a side of ranch and enjoy.

**side note: these can be made in an air fryer**
