Either way you spell it, donuts are delicious. If you're anything like me and get a craving for something sweet and don't feel like going out these will hit the spot.
Keep calm and Donut-worry
Donuts holes Printable Recipe
2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
3 Tbsp. Sugar
1 Tbsp. Baking Powder
1 Tsp. Kosher Salt
5 Tbsp. Butter (cold)
3/4 Cup Milk
Vegetable Oil for frying
Roll into
1/3 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 1/2 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
Directions
Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and mix together.
Using a pastry cutter or two forks, cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles wet sand. Add the milk and mix until combined.
Transfer the dough onto a well floured surface and kneed until the dough becomes a smooth ball.
Using a cookie scoop, scoop out dough into 1 inch balls and roll each ball smooth.
Combine your granulated sugar and cinnamon together and set aside.
Heat up your oil until 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place donut holes into heated oil and fry until golden brown on all sides about 2-4 minutes.
Remove them from the oil and let drain for 30 seconds and then roll them into the cinnamon sugar.
Serve and Enjoy!
